Most of the golfers have the C-Posture and the S-Posture. If one starts with the wrong swing and continues to do it over a period of time, then eventually they will form any of the two. During the presentation we were able to demonstrate the two postures and what exercises one can do to correct them. Some of the exercises include;


Excessive curvature at the lower spine may cause lower back pain.

Corrective Exercises

  • Lie flat on the floor knees bent
  • Squeeze quads raise hips up and extend left leg out and hold for 30 seconds then relax. Repeat with the other leg.


Excessive curvature at upper spine may cause upper back pain.

Corrective Exercises
Lie on stomach arms on the back, lift head and chest up without lifting the hips, hold 30 seconds then relax.

Repeat for 5-10 times

Glad you found this video so helpful. Many times with farword head posture, you can develop what seems to be a large tissue mass at the bottom of the neck. But please TheDarrennewman, make sure this mass' as you describe it, is indeed benign. Go get it checked out. Recently I took my 21 month old daughter Natalie to see Dr Mark Smith who has been my methors chiropractor for just over a year. I was concerned that Natalie appeared to be having trouble walking straight. She appeared very stiff and bent over while walking. After the treatment i was thrilled to see that her posture improved significantly and Natalie went from being very bent over to almost straight.
